PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

WHAT DO WE DO NOW that school is over?

A Photography Workshop for students preparing for graduation.

High school students are graduating much younger than ever before and far too often these students are entering into college and university without ever having given serious thought to what they have chosen to do.  "I thought it was something I would enjoy doing" is what I here most often and because they haven't taken the time to really investigate their options or identify their passion, they end up either dropping out or never actually going on to do what they were schooled for.  A great deal of time and money are lost, but more importantly these students are left feeling as though they have failed.

This workshop series is designed to help students preparing for graduation or looking to revisit school.  Using photographs you will uncover where your interests stem from, identify your true passion(s), and learn how to make your goals a reality.

Don't waste another dollar or another school day.

ENROL IN STORY WRITING FROM PHOTOGRAPHS WORKSHOP

Course Code: ARTS2387

Combining the art of writing with photography, this workshop uses photographs as the inspiration for well written short stories. Just as photographers find the extraordinary in the ordinary by showing unexpected angles, contrasting light, or by drawing your eye to the unexpected, writers can do the same thing with words. By incorporating similar techniques into your writing, you will explore familiar experiences and people in unique ways to create intriguing stories. Using photographs as a starting point for short stories is a unique and effective way to alleviate new writer's inhibitions and can help seasoned writers overcome writer's block. Instruction is suitable for new and experienced writers.
